Meaningful Work From Day One:
The Business Development Executive is a sales and partnership building role within the Melbourne Brown-Forman (B-F) business. The role involves managing and implementing company strategy within a set group of (predominantly) On Premise and Off Premise customers, as well as prospecting for new business. The Business Development Executive will become an advocate for our market leading brands and will be tasked with bringing them to life in venues.

Contract Duration: This role is a temporary contract, 12 months.

What You Can Expect:
● Develop a deep understanding of what drives customer decisions in Metro Melbourne by collaborating closely with On and Off Premise customers and spending time in trade Elicit constructive dialogue during calls by employing structured questioning strategies that uncover emerging trends, consumer behavior insights and super premium drink opportunities.
● Maximize B-F profit within the assigned territory by adapting and implementing B-F’s business strategy to suit customer needs to increase engagement and trust.
● Present creative and commercial strategies to customers in an engaging and informative manner.
● Prepare meeting objectives and territory plans which deliver quantifiable results.
● Analyze and review territory performance and budgets vs targets.


What You Bring to the Table:
● Experience within the on premise channel;
● Commercial ability to develop and assess territory plans and opportunities;
● Self-motivation and the ability to work autonomously;
● Entrepreneurial and creative mindset to bring B-F brands to life.

What Makes You Unique:
● Experience in a selling role;
● Experience in account management;
● Experience conducting training sessions;
● Tertiary qualification in a business related field.
