Mercer Marsh Benefits is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Singapore office:

Business Development Executive, Employee Benefits

We will rely on you to:

Create a qualified new business pipeline with multinational organizations.

Build your sales network and coordinate MMB sales activities across Marsh McLennan to maximize cross selling opportunities.

Manage the sales process and exhibit strong discipline on evaluating sales opportunities.

Attend and assist with sales meetings and presentations led by senior level colleagues for varying types of accounts to gain exposure and insight as to market best-practices.

Collaborate with Client Solutions, Solution Delivery, Client Success, Global Client Managers and Global Benefits Management Account Managers/Directors to ensure seamless client experience.

Seek and possess an in-depth understanding of the business service offerings and products and apply it to market research and client appraisals.

Update and input accurate data into our internal database (prospect list, funnel, dashboard, and sales activity reports).

Conduct routine research on market trends/developments and existing business to assist in analyzing opportunities and identifying and evaluating additional client or market needs.

With supervision, draft due diligence reports and presentations which may include qualitative and quantitative market/product findings and basic financial analyses to assist senior colleagues with live/potential deal work.

Present findings and unique ideas regarding product work or market research to internal senior level colleagues to be utilized for sales work.

Belong to various professional organizations grows a large professional network.

Assist senior level colleagues on various aspects of the deal process in various industries/regions to gain practical knowledge and experience.

What you need to have: 

Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university with approximately 1 to 2 years of working experience.

Strong oral and written communication skills and presentation skills.

Analytical, critical thinking, good interpersonal and problem solving skills.

MAS qualification is required for this role.

Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel).

General knowledge of benefit practices (employee benefit underwriting, health care management, flexible benefits and alternative funding).
