**Eaton’s Connected Solutions Group is currently seeking a Business Development Analyst to join our team. This position can based at our Peachtree City, GA facility or fully remote if currently located in the United States.**
The expected annual salary range for this role is $93750.03 - $137500.04 a year.

**What you’ll do:**
The Assemblies and Residential Solutions (ARS) business is expanding its portfolio of connected technologies/solutions and we’re looking for experienced talent who can support and drive insights through robust data analysis and visualization for the US electrical channel. This role will help identify and develop high potential opportunities across stakeholders/divisions that comprise ARS in areas including, but not limited to digital, channel, segment and key enablers for growth (e.g., Federal and state government funding, third-party financing, etc.). such as the channel approach for Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure (EVCI), Vehicle to Everything (V2X), Virtual Power Plant (VPP), etc.
You will Identify and understand market trends, customer/distributor needs, competition, primary economic levers, and industry trends. You will identify key coverage gaps, leveraging both organic and inorganic opportunities to grow both market and wallet share. You will collaborate on strategy for the US prosumer offer; selling software through channel and identify ways to acquisitions or Eaton Ventures investments in driving strength or profitability in the US channel.
**Additionally:**
+ Understand technologies and regulatory standards in relation to utility demand management & DER integration as well as Electric Vehicle Charging; stay current with new developments in the market.
+ Extract data from various internal and external sources, combine data sets, and drive robust analysis of business and market opportunities.
+ Provide analysis that supports leadership decisions on opportunity prioritization, development, and execution, supporting long-term growth initiatives.
+ Understand the competitive landscape and identify key points of differentiation to serving customers in new markets and/or channels.
+ Assist in the development of long-term forecasts, supported by data analysis, benchmarking, and a strong background in financial analysis.
+ Utilize statistical analysis and assists in the development of models that help predict market trends from a variety of inputs.
+ Develop reports and/or metrics that assist in the management and execution of projects, ensuring timelines and performance are balanced effectively.
+ Develop dashboards and tools to track the status of each opportunity and its progress, creating visualization for the Business Development team and leaders within ARS.
+ Assist management with channel, major accounts, global product lines, and segment team alignment, developing project management resources/tools to leverage collective expertise and support execution of go-to-market strategies.
+ Collaborate cross functionally throughout the enterprise to ensure synergies are identified and maximized within each of the teams’ projects/workstreams.
+ Identify stakeholder participation opportunities for product or service offerings and assist in the development of pilot programs to prove out concepts and refine technical requirements.
+ Identify challenges/risks related to the design, development, implementation, marketing, or sales of products & services; works with management team to prioritize, develop, and execute mitigations & contingency plans.
**Qualifications:**
**Required (Basic) Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering, information/computer science, finance, or business from an accredited institution
+ Three (3) years of strategic business analytics experience in the construction, residential, energy, or industrial markets, with the ability to advise teams on opportunity assessment, strategic planning, and data-driven business insights and solutions
+ Eligible to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Five (5) years of experience in business, supporting analysis, forecasting, and financial modeling using PowerBI
+ Experiencing applying project management or Lean Six Sigma methodologies
+ Experience developing metrics and dashboards to visualize data for teams
+ Experience working with utility programs, automotive and or distributed energy resource manufacturers a plus
