We are currently looking to recruit two Business Controllers, covering different Products. One role will focus on Voice Products and the other role will focus on Messaging Products.
About the role
As Business Controller you will have a significant role within our Product & Tech team. You will play a pivotal role in increasing business insights via improved understanding of data as well as being the finance representative to the Product organization for your area where non-financial data is combined with financial data for increased insights and effective steering. You will partner with Product Management and Development to provide financial advice and expertise, with high visibility to the senior management team. You will serve as a SPOC to, and collaborate closely with, the Global Finance community to secure a strong delivery.
In this role you will play an important part of the team and in shaping the Product Finance function. This role is based at Sinch HQ in Stockholm, Sweden and you will report to the VP Product & Tech Finance.
Key responsibilities:
Partner with Product leaders within the product area to drive achievement of financial and operational targets Conduct financial modelling to assess product profitability Work as SPOC for finance to the Product organization, in a two way communication method Deliver frequent and time sensitive ad hoc analyses including new business cases and new product launches, including pricing and profitability calculations Analyze and report on the growth, profitability and returns Be responsible for and, together with the product lead, drive the product profitability, measures and performance Support in providing analysis and insights to enable the product organisation to decide on capital and resource allocation Assess new product launches and investments, support in determining IF investments should be capitalized or not. Analyze and monitor key financial trends and critical metrics/KPIs for internal reporting to support business decisions, understanding key variances and business drivers Drive, create and maintain short-term and long-range business plan/budget/forecasts Support monthly, quarterly, annual closing and reporting cycle Continuously work on improving our processes and daily tasks with the team Support in establishing financial benchmark of competition and internal benchmarks
Requirements

You have excellent business modeling and data analytical skills and deep understanding of business drivers.
Proven experience in business controlling, ideally from a Telco or Tech company or complex global organization with large datasets Ability to consolidate and interpret large datasets for decision making Experience from working as a finance support function collaborating with business owners. Ideally within a Product function or Commercial. Proficiency in financial modelling and variance analysis Depth knowledge and understanding of financial reporting and analysis Understanding of product lifecycle, pricing strategies and market dynamics Experience with investment insights and business case development Advanced user in Excel Experience of ERP systems, BI tools (Tableau), Planning tools (Anaplan) is a plus Fluency in English is requiredOur corporate language is English, please submit your application in English.
