This role can be based in Atlanta, GA, Iselin, NJ, or remotely within the US and will be responsible for 1 employee.

Acting as the Business Controller, supporting the Portfolio leads to drive overall business results.

Providing commercial support/guidance to the Hub Asset Management for commercial topics, e.g. for impairments, provisions, termination payments, IFRS 16 option assessment in alignment with the Global Business Controller. Providing business case support for a wide variety of projects to the Hub Asset Management in alignment with the Global Business Controller. Acting as the commercial quality gate in Hub Asset Management related investment applications (e.g. lease in/lease out, maintenance). Supporting maintenance controlling (data quality checks, key figure reporting) in alignment with the Regional Maintenance & Technology Manager. Acting as the interface to Hub Accounting supporting in the regional implementation of new accounting principles, considering local requirements. Managing the interface to the Global Support Center on a transactional steering-level with a focus on improving efficiency of daily transactions and information exchange (commercial topics). Supporting the regional implementation of globally defined standards and processes to ensure comprehensive, consistent worldwide controlling approach for AM business. Providing commercial guidance for the implementation of global AM initiatives and projects. Partnering with and supporting the Commercial Asset Management Hub Head planning, forecasting, reporting and analyzing the operational performance of the Hub Asset Management business. Consolidating and preparing Hub figures, including top-down and bottom-up plans. Guiding Regional/Zone Asset Manager in forecasting and pre-validating forecast figures and impact on SREs Key Figures. Gathering consolidated risk & opportunity register from dedicated countries. Ensuring accurate and timely financials (clean books and records) including effectiveness of internal controls and adherence to SRE framework.

 Basic Requirements:

Possessing a bachelor’s degree in a field such Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent. MBA strongly preferred. Having a professional background of a minimum of 10 years of experience with responsibility in finance functions; expert knowledge in Real Estate financial aspects preferred. Strong leadership experience with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role, providing a track record in building a high-performance culture. Maintaining an open mindset with a strong focus on achieving results and exceptional problem-solving skills and expertise in strategic thinking, assertiveness, and adaptability. Acting with a strong customer orientation and excellent skills in stakeholder management. Demonstrating solid accounting skills with ability to demonstrate an understanding & interpretation of key financial statements.  Displaying excellent ownership, communication, and interpersonal skills - strong collaboration mindset. Visionary with the ability to analyze company data to influence business decisions to support business performance. Possessing proficiency in MS Excel incl. Business Objects, SAP, Power BI, MS PowerPoint incl. ThinkCell and the ability to analyze and interpret to turn insights into actionable strategies. Fluency in English, both written and spoken.  Being committed to onsite presence at least two days a week. It is expected that you will visit the Property Management Units within your area of responsibility on a regular basis. Travel required up to 25%. Able to work in the US without the need of sponsorship now or in the future.

-The pay range for this position is $126,980-$217,680 and the annual incentive target will be 20% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
