Responsibilities Job Summary Business Continuity Planning and Development: Assist in the development and maintenance of Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) and Continuity of Operations Plans (COOPs). Conduct Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) to identify critical business functions and assess associated risks. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to business continuity. Collaborate with emergency management teams to integrate business continuity strategies into organizational policies. Support risk assessment and mitigation planning for various business units and participate in emergency response planning and coordination. Design and facilitate training and awareness programs on business continuity for employees. Coordinate and conduct tabletop exercises, drills, and full-scale simulations. Evaluate the outcomes of these exercises and update the business continuity plans accordingly. Support crisis management teams during real-world incidents and activations and monitor business continuity events to guide response and recovery actions. Ensure effective communication with stakeholders during emergencies and maintain detailed documentation of business continuity strategies and test results. Generate reports on business continuity status, training activities, and compliance. Additionally, assist in developing policies and procedures to enhance business continuity efforts. Works closely with clinical departmental staff and leadership throughout the network to enhance workplace collaboration and improve business continuity planning, training, culture, and preparedness. The daily focus is on building relationships and fostering collaborative interactions to ensure comprehensive preparation, education, and readiness. Coordinates with HonorHealth's clinical departments and senior leadership to identify areas in need of business continuity services. Specializes in business continuity training and preparedness, and develops assessment reports for senior leadership as needed. The role involves providing technical guidance, training, and practical drills throughout the network to ensure that HonorHealth's policies and procedures related to workplace and public safety are properly aligned. This includes coordinating the use of the Incident Command System (ICS) to maintain compliance with the National Incident Management System (NIMS). Additionally, collaboration with Emergency Management on Hazard/Threat Vulnerability Assessments (HVA) and related reporting activities is essential. Responsibilities also include ensuring business continuity is effectively maintained. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are tracked, recorded, and aligned across the network. The role requires conducting security and facility risk assessments as needed or as requested at all network locations. Collaboration with Emergency Management, leadership, Business Continuity Steering Committee, and local, state, and federal government agencies, as well as community partners, is critical for emergency management and preparedness training and implementation. Finally, the role includes providing necessary documentation for annual reports and evaluating program effectiveness. Works with Emergency Management and Business Continuity leadership to ensure that HonorHealth's policies and procedures regarding business continuity are consistently applied across all network locations. Develops and implements relevant training programs that align with these policies and procedures. Conducts Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) at medical groups, ambulatory locations, and medical centers, makes recommendations, and coordinates the implementation of approved recommendations. Participates in various committees, subcommittees, and coalitions as determined by leadership. Serves as a liaison and develops relationships with all related community partners, coalitions, and governing bodies. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree Business Administration, Emergency Management, or health care field Required Experience 3 years Risk Management, Business Continuity Management, Process Management, System Security or Incident Response experience or a combination experiences Required Licenses and Certifications Driver License a current and valid Arizona driver's license Required
