POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is within the HRO Business Continuity Organization. It is responsible globally for the protection of ADP's HRO business assets through the development of a global Business Resiliency Program that establishes a single framework for how ADP manages, and controls risks associated with the recovery from business interruptions and disaster events. It is responsible for the global development, implementation, testing, and maintenance of business resiliency recovery strategies and solutions, including Risk Threat Analysis (RTA), Business Impact Analysis (BIA), Incident Management Planning (IMP), Business Continuity Planning (BCP), and Pandemic Planning. Minimum travel required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement business resiliency programs including but not limited to Risk Threat Analysis (RTA), Business Impact Analysis (BIA), Incident Management Planning (IMP), Business Continuity Planning (BCP), and Pandemic Planning. Provide business & technical guidance to Business Resiliency Champions (BRCs), global business resiliency coordinators, associates, and senior leadership. Become trusted advisor and contribute to raising operational risk and business resiliency awareness throughout the HRO. Ensure all Business Resiliency champions/coordinators are trained to fulfill their responsibilities and that they are familiar with the relevant provisions of the Business Resiliency plans. Provide access/training to ADP standard business resiliency tools (planning, and emergency notification systems). Develop business resiliency validation criteria, methods and procedures. Coordinate and assist with scheduling and facilitating tests/exercises to assure that documented plans will result in minimal or no business interruption. Recommend appropriate changes as needed. Manage program quality assurance, ensuring the timely delivery of effective solutions, the delivery of superior customer service, and the development and maintenance of strong internal relationships. Provide 24x7 support for any emergency which may require activation of all or part of Global Business Resiliency plans. In the event that activation is required, assist recovery/business resumption teams in the implementation of response and alternate operating strategies. If required, function as a business resiliency coordinator during the crisis. Assist the Corporate Crisis Manager during local, regional, or global events that impact several ADP Business Units. Maintain contact with outside business resiliency professional organizations and local/regional emergency response groups that participate in business continuity, disaster recovery, and emergency management Collaborates effectively with cross-functional entities across the enterprise. Organizational direction, time management, problem-solving, prioritization, goal setting, leadership and motivation, negotiation, interpersonal relations, verbal/written communications and human resource management. Exercises a great amount of independent decision making, acts as a subject matter expert. Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal effectively with senior level management. Individual must possess a mature ability to deal with stress and make sound professional judgment in potentially threatening environments. Ability to solve practical problems and react quickly and calmly to changing or emergency circumstances. These services may require long hours including nights, weekends and holidays. Candidates must be willing to travel domestically and internationally, sometimes on short notice
