The Senior Manager of Business Continuity will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the Crisis Management and Business Continuity program. This role’s focus will be both strategic, supporting required programs and practices, as well as tactical, working on the ground implementation. The Senior Manager will ensure operational resilience by preparing for, responding to, and recovering from disruptions and minimizing impact on operations, customer service, and reputation. This role also coordinates the business impact analysis process and creation of the related resilience plans within the enterprise. In addition, the responsibility includes organization of training, simulations, and drills to ensure plans are effective and that the key stakeholders are prepared. **Flexible Work Policy: The work for the Sr Mgr Business Continuity position is completely 100% remote anywhere in the United States except Hawaii or United States Territories. This position may have the potential to travel up to 20% dependent on business needs.** **RESPONSIBILITIES** + Drive all business continuity lifecycle activities, including program governance, risk assessment and business Impact analysis (“RBIA”), recovery planning, training and awareness, testing, maintenance, monitoring, and reporting. + Initiate and implement a global Business Continuity and Crisis Management program which includes the development and maintenance of crisis management teams and provide guidance & support during crisis situations. + Develop and oversee business continuity/crisis management command center functions and intelligence and incident management capabilities with the goal of safeguarding company associates and ensuring operational resilience. + Work with key stakeholders within the business divisions, to strengthen and develop the business continuity and risk framework and its individual components. + Develop a notification and reporting process that informs the Senior Director, Business Continuity Management and proper stakeholders. + Launch Internal and Third Party/Vendor Security Risk assessment program and related traditional Governance, Risk, and Compliance (“GRC”) program. + Support the enterprise during business continuity, crisis management, and security, regulatory & audit discussions. + Monitor program compliance with business continuity, crisis management and security standards, policies, and contractual requirements. Develop and maintain a monitoring & reporting program that assesses the effectiveness of the programs through metrics and key performance indicators. **RELATIONSHIPS** + **Internal:** Engagement with all departments within US Foods as well as associates at all levels of the organization, including executive leadership. + **External:** Communicate and build relationships with international, federal, state and local agencies which assist in safeguarding and supporting US Foods’ mission and the safety of our associates. Relationships with other companies’ leaders of Business Continuity and Crisis Management for benchmarking and partnership. The role is also responsible for engaging partners, suppliers, vendors, and customers to ensure all levels of the Business Continuity and Crisis Management lifecycle are in place. **WORK ENVIRONMENT** + **Remote** : This role is fully remote, and the associate is expected to perform assigned responsibilities from a home-based environment. **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS** 7 years of progressive Business Continuity-related experience, leading the following items: + Business Impact Analysis (BIA) – Functional risk assessment to determine the function’s Recovery Time Objective (RTO). Also includes identification of the function’s application, 3rd party, and upstream function dependencies + Business Recovery Plans (BRP) – Recovery strategies and tasks for recovery of the function; includes recovery for physical location disruption, dependency disruption, and employee unavailability (e.g., pandemic) + Business Recovery Function-Location Testing – Pre and post test scripts, function-location recovery strategy test execution, and post-test evidence documentation + Proficiency in the development of robust analytical reports and presentations and presenting to large high-level teams. + Understanding of business, distribution centers, and supply chain processes Travel 10-20% **EDUCATION** + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience **CERTIFICATIONS/TRAINING** + Associate Business Continuity Professional (ABCP) or Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) certification **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** + Experience in International business continuity and crisis management leadership role(s) The following information is provided in accordance with certain state and local laws. Compensation depends on experience, geographic locations, and other factors permitted by law.  In California, the expected compensation for this role is between $115,900 and $154,500.  In Connecticut, the expected compensation for this role is between $122,000 or 162,700. In Colorado, the expected compensation for this role is between $102,500 and $136,700. In Maryland, the expected compensation for this role is between $109,500 and $146,100.   In Minnesota, the expected compensation for this role is between $102,500 and $136,700.  In New York, the expected compensation for this role is between $122,000 or 162,700. In Rhode Island, the expected compensation for this role is between $109,500 and $146,100.
