Job Description

We are looking for a committed and experienced business consultant for Master Data Management (MDM) and Master Data Governance (MDG) to support our team in the successful implementation and further development of our data strategies.

Your responsibilities:

You advise internal departments and stakeholders on MDM and MDG topics and support the analysis, definition, and implementation of requirements.You analyze and define detailed MDM processes, tasks, data flows, and dependencies.You define and implement a process organization for data governance and data quality management.You identify weak points in existing MDM and MDG processes, define governance guidelines, and ensure that they are adhered to.You verify the designs of the entire data integration architecture together with the respective product owners and solution architects.You are part of the global data organization and support the agile teams in their daily tasks and projects.You carry out measures and workshops to promote understanding of how to handle master data in the company and to disseminate best practices.Reporting line to the Chief Product Owner Data Management.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

Completed studies in industrial engineering, information technology, business informatics, business administration, or a comparable qualification.Several years of professional experience in the field of master and reference data management.Knowledge of MDM/MDG trends and concepts.Comprehensive knowledge of data architecture and integration.In-depth understanding of business processes in the B2B environment, as well as the implementation and optimization of business processes through IT solutions.Knowledge of project management and project leadership, particularly in an agile environment.Solid experience with ERP systems and ideally experience with common MDM tools such as SAP MDG, Stibo Systems, or similar platforms.You are characterized by the ability to work in a team, flexibility, and adaptability in a dynamic environment, as well as very good communication and management skills.Very good written and spoken English language skills, as well as experience in intercultural collaboration.
