Business Banking Risk Quality Control - Associate

In this role, the Quality Control (QC) Associate will be part of Wholesale Credit Governance program within the Chase Business Banking (BB) Risk Team to ensure compliance with regulations and BB & Firmwide policies/procedures. 

Your role will be a combination of Quality oversight of underwriting decisions by conducting regular quality checks, Creation, distribution, and oversight of various monitoring reports and Oversight on various governance initiatives across the business. Candidate is expected to possess a strong credit and technical background including risk governance and process control skills, project management, data management and reporting skills.

Responsibilities:

Quality Control associated with new originations and portfolio risk underwriting and monitoring activities at underwriter / portfolio level Quality Control tool (ACES) management and maintenance and Preparing and maintaining QC procedures Identifying and highlighting error trend based on QC result and drive training interventions to address the same Report creation, distribution, and oversight of assigned risk monitoring tools / reports on a periodic basis Lead governance initiatives across Business Banking to drive consistency across Risk Team Assist with preparation for internal and external reviews, audits, and examinations Assist or coordinate projects and process improvements

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

More than 5 years of experience in Credit Underwriting, Risk Quality Control, Audit, Compliance or Risk Management Knowledge of risk and control assessment process Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally to achieve measurable results Skills & experience to manage targeted portfolios ( e.g. formal credit training, traditional lending products, treasury and cash management product knowledge, problem loan experience) Bachelor's Degree required with a focus in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics preferred Knowledge and experience with data management and reporting tools - Tableau, Alteryx, Excel, SAP preferred Knowledge and experience with multiple programming languages - Excel, VBA preferred

Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze large sets of data preferred Familiarity with key Financial Institution regulations preferred MBA or professional certification preferred
