Job summary

We are seeking a highly skilled GeoSpatial Developer with expertise in Java to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 8 to 10 years of experience in business operations and will work in a hybrid model with day shifts. This role does not require travel. The candidate will contribute to the development and implementation of geospatial solutions that enhance our business operations and impact society positively.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement geospatial solutions using Java to support business operations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze geospatial data requirements.Design and maintain geospatial databases and ensure data integrity and accuracy.Provide technical expertise in geospatial data processing and analysis.Oversee the integration of geospatial data with other business systems and applications.Ensure the scalability and performance of geospatial applications.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to geospatial data and applications.Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in geospatial development.Provide training and support to team members on geospatial tools and technologies.Develop and maintain documentation for geospatial solutions and processes.Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging geospatial data to improve business operations.Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations in all geospatial projects.

Qualifications

Possess a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Geography or a related field.Have 8 to 10 years of experience in geospatial development and business operations.Demonstrate proficiency in Java programming and geospatial data processing.Show experience with geospatial databases such as PostGIS or Oracle Spatial.Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Exhibit excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Be familiar with geospatial tools and technologies such as ArcGIS QGIS or similar.Show knowledge of data privacy and security regulations related to geospatial data.Demonstrate the ability to work in a hybrid model with day shifts.Be committed to continuous learning and professional development.Have experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.Show the ability to develop and maintain documentation for geospatial solutions.Be proactive in identifying opportunities to leverage geospatial data for business improvements.
