Overview As a WC Claim & Policy Business Architect, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing our workers' compensation claim and policy processes. Your primary focus will be on improving the efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of our WC claim and policy operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to analyze current processes, identify pain points, and design innovative solutions. Additionally, you will collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration and implementation of process improvements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in workers' compensation claims and policy administration, along with expertise in business process analysis and optimization. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential for success in this role. This role offers rich opportunities to develop as a leader, problem solver, and strategic planner. There will be frequent opportunities to interact with and influence senior decision makers. You will also help scale the Business Architecture group by improving our methodologies and mentoring others on the team. How you'll make an impact Analyze and evaluate current workers' compensation claim and policy processes to identify pain points, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. Design and optimize end-to-end claim and policy processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to gather requirements and align business objectives with process improvement initiatives. Drive and facilitate discussion with business leaders to identify future objectives. Define improvement initiatives and participate in strategic planning and project initiation activities. Develop analysis & process documents, requirements and roadmaps for various projects and programs across GB’s business units, applications, and products. Identify and implement best practices, industry standards, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and operational excellence. Work closely with IT teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure seamless integration and implementation of process improvements. Advocate and drive adoption of Business Architecture best practices to ensure standardization Provide guidance and support to project teams to ensure adherence to process improvement methodologies and best practices. Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes in workers' compensation claims and policy administration. About You Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Insurance, or a related field. 10+ years of related experience as a WC Claim & Policy Business Architect or similar role, with a focus on optimizing workers' compensation claim and policy processes. Strong knowledge and understanding of workers' compensation claims and policy administration, including industry regulations and best practices. Experience in business process analysis, optimization, and reengineering. Proficiency in translating business requirements into technical specifications and collaborating with IT teams for implementation. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and subject matter experts. Strong attention to detail and a passion for operational excellence.
