Henley Enterprises, Inc. (and our associated entities) is a privately-owned Franchisee of Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC) currently operating over 250 VIOC locations in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, Florida, Louisiana, and California. The Company has grown rapidly and is projecting continued growth moving forward. This position works in the Newton Office and reports to the Sr. Manager of IT. Starting pay range will be $95K - $105K based on experience.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Business Applications Developer will work with 3rd party business systems including but not limited to: Microsoft SQL Server, SharePoint, Layer 2, DocStar, mPower, and others. They will build and maintain functionality and processes as required by various business units. When professional services are required, they will interface with vendors to ensure work is completed correctly.

· Provides support when applications are not functioning correctly or are incomplete. Responsible for identifying and fixing, when possible, issues in 3rd party system applications.

· Responsible for the development, customization, and adaptation of new and existing programs to meet users’ requirements. Utilize in-house resources and tools whenever possible.

· Performs ongoing activities to maintain and enhance overall system performance.

· Maintains health of SQL database.

· Develops and maintain automated database loads and extractions.

· Coordinates activities with network services and information systems groups.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

· 90% of work in a climate-controlled internal office environment working under normal office conditions.

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers to feel and handle, reach with arms and hands, talk and hear. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may incidentally be required to stoop, kneel and crouch, lift weight or exert a force up to a maximum of 25 pounds.
