Business Analyst - Risk & Control - Markets Tech C12
The Business Analyst is an intermediate-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning. **Responsibilities:** + Perform a deep analysis on the identification of Risk & Control issues root cause for FX and Markets Regional Technology Mexico area, partnering with team members, Security Information team, control and process owners to make recommendations in corrective actions and improvements as well as provide monitoring to ensure appropriate escalation. + Support with the process of CAPs, Risk Exceptions and Data Concerns Registration, ensuring these are captured accurately, timely and in accordance with requirements to remediate the issue identified and notify Risk & Control area and teams involved. + Monitor and applies a proactive approach in routinely tracking CAPs, RE, DA progress against target dates of each milestone and prepares, maintains, clear and concise activity/progress report. + Manage problems and/or risks, bringing the right people together to solve problems and know when the problem has been properly addressed and closed. + Evaluate and support FX and Markets Regional Technology Mexico team on delivers for Regulators and Audits requests, ensuring the deliveries accurately, timely and in accordance with audit requirements, collaborating with team members, Risk & Control area. + Support and review on adherence process reviews (Initial Adherence, Spot Check & Health Check) over projects and programs results to take remediation actions and review lessons learned with the PMs of the team. + Execute and communicate PMs and Risk & Control metrics assessment for FX and Markets Regional Technology Mexico team to evaluate and review risk to meat team goals. + Filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex material from multiple sources and perform other duties and functions as assigned + Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. **Qualifications:** + 5-8 years of relevant experience in FX, Derivatives, Money, Equities and Markets Products, as well Risk & Control procedures. + Has in-depth knowledge of how technology integrates wihtin the organization and services in area of responsability. + Upper-Intermediate English (written and spoken). + Extensive experience in interaction with architecture, infrastructure and network teams. + Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods + Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements + Demonstrated ability to effectively use complex analytical, interpretive and problem-solving techniques + Proven interpersonal, diplomatic and influencing skills + Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication **Education:** + Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience ------------------------------------------------------ **Job Family Group:** Technology ------------------------------------------------------ **Job Family:** Business Analysis / Client Services ------------------------------------------------------ **Time Type:** Full time ------------------------------------------------------ Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
