Description
The Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. This position involves gathering and analyzing requirements, facilitating communication between stakeholders, and ensuring that the delivered solutions meet business objectives.
Experience, skill and capability
• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or professional certification in Business Analysis, Information Technology, or a related field
• Experience: Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role, preferably within the financial services sector
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with business analysis tools and methodologies, as well as experience with project management software. SQL, Cloud, BPMN, UI, API and Webservice integration experience would be beneficial
• Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
Key Responsibilities
• Requirements Gathering: Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and document functional and non-functional requirements
• Analysis and Documentation: Create detailed specifications, user stories, and process maps to clearly communicate requirements to technical teams
• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle
• Solution Evaluation: Assess proposed solutions against business requirements and provide recommendations for improvements or alternatives
• Testing and Validation: Collaborate with QA teams to develop test cases and ensure that solutions meet the specified requirements through rigorous testing
• Change Management: Assist in managing change initiatives, including training and support for end-users to ensure smooth adoption of new systems and processes
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the enhancement of business practices
