We also offer competitive pay, comprehensive benefits through one of the largest national carriers, Paid Time Off (PTO) that increases with tenure and has a generous rollover, 11 company paid Holidays, and 401(k) with immediate contribution. **Where you’ll work:** This is a hybrid onsite/remote opportunity where you will report to the customer location in Falls Church, VA and have the flexibility to work from home based on business needs. **An average day:** As Business Analyst III you will be responsible for enhancing data-driven decision-making through thorough requirements analysis, effective problem-solving, and close collaboration with stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational objectives. In this role, you will translate complex business needs into actionable solutions, process development and refinement, maintain compliance with DoD and federal standards, realizing operational efficiency, and contribute to continuous improvement across various projects. In this position you will: + Elicit, analyze, and document complex business and technical requirements by engaging users, subject matter experts, and stakeholders. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria that align with organizational goals + Develop and maintain requirement artifacts such as process flows, user stories, functional specifications, and system design documentation, and Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTMs). + Work with technical teams and leadership to clarify requirements, address ambiguities, and evaluate potential solutions. + Identify opportunities for process optimization, workflow enhancement, and cost reduction to improve operational efficiency, and drive solution development to achieve operational efficiency in those areas. + Perform gap analyses to compare current processes with best practices and proposed solutions. + Create as-is and to-be process visualizations from requirements sessions, gap analysis, and stakeholder discussions to further support operational change and the drive toward efficiency. + Develop tools to support organizational efficiency where gaps are identified, or to support new an emerging processes. + Facilitate meetings, interviews, and workshops with stakeholders to validate requirements, resolve conflicts, and gain consensus on priorities. + Provide clear communication of technical concepts to non-technical audiences through presentations, reports, and detailed documentation. + Support testing, validation, and user acceptance processes to confirm alignment with requirements and stakeholder expectations. + Create and maintain project documentation including status updates, risk assessments, impact analyses, and change logs. + Maintain compliance with DoD and federal standards throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring data integrity and regulatory adherence. + Monitor implemented solutions to confirm they meet stakeholder expectations and drive continuous improvement. + Collaborate with project managers to ensure proper resource allocation, timeline management, and risk mitigation. + Serve as a liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure cohesive collaboration and timely issue resolution. **Basic Qualifications:** + As a requirement of this position, all candidates must be a U.S. Citizen. In accordance with 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(2)(C) , Epsilon will not consider candidates for this position who do not meet the aforementioned conditions. + Minimum of 5 years in business analysis, requirements gathering, or related roles. + Demonstrated experience facilitating requirements workshops and interviews with multiple stakeholder groups. + Understanding of DoD or federal data standards and compliance requirements. + Proficiency in business process modeling, workflow documentation, and requirements management tools. + Proficiency with business intelligence tools to support enterprise reporting and dashboarding + Familiarity with workflow efficiency tools such as Microsoft Power Automate or Zapier + Strong analytical ability to evaluate complex challenges and recommend effective solutions. + Proven experience communicating and collaborating with diverse teams and leadership levels. + Ability to create and manage project artifacts such as status reports, risk assessments, impact analyses, and change logs. + Familiarity with federal regulations, including security and privacy standards. + Commitment to refining requirement-gathering methodologies and best practices, with a focus on continuous improvement. **Other:** + Must hold an Active DOD Secret, Top Secret or TS/SCI Clearance + Must be located within a two (2) hour commute of the physical work location **Physical Demands and Working Conditions:** Listed below are the physical or mental requirements necessary for the job's performance.
