**Job Title:** Business Analyst II - iLIFE

**Job Purpose:** The iLIFE Business Analyst II is responsible for creating, analyzing, and documenting business requirements and/or functional specifications. Throughout the scoping, development, testing, deployment and implementation of updated and/or new system functionalities and processes, this role serves as a liaison between Operations Management and Information Systems (IS). The Business Analyst II is also responsible for researching and evaluating alternative approaches and recommends efficient and cost-effective solutions. The individual additionally contributes to activities to improve quality and advance the overall analysis practice throughout the organization.

**Essential Job Functions:**

+ Develops and maintains exceptional working knowledge of internal software applications, data structures, architecture, and processing capabilities.
+ Ensures functional requirements are appropriately represented in business requirements and technical specification documents.
+ Works with operations staff to ensure complete and accurate testing of all incidents and system enhancements before deployment to production environments. Ensures original submitter of incident/enhancement approves of the change and is aware of the deployment.
+ Builds Business Requirement Documents (BRD’s) for all system enhancements and works with operations management to obtain approval before submittal.
+ Collaborates with system users to identify processing constraints and works collaboratively towards recommending system enhancements and workflow improvements. If internal systems aren’t sufficient, the iLIFE Business Analyst II will work with leadership to build a business case for additional systems.
+ Verifies the accuracy and validity of reports and other various reportable metrics.
+ Assists Project Manager and implementation team in data validation for any parallel testing or client implementations.
+ Assists and/or conducts end-user training and works with the iLIFE Technical Writers to ensure work instructions are revised.

**Qualifications**
**Required Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensure and Credentials:** _(Where appropriate, education and/or experience may be substituted)_
**Minimum Required Education:** Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent work experience
**Minimum Required Experience:** 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst. Minimum 2 years experience writing and pulling SQL scripts

+ Ability to get buy-in from stakeholders on impactful, timely decisions.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
+ Familiarity with modular application design, .NET Framework, C#, JavaScript and project management methodologies (e.g. Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
**Physical Requirements, Visual Acuity, and Work Conditions:**
**Physical Requirements** : Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with whole hand or arm as in handling.
Talking, expressing, or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Hearing, perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction
**Visual Acuity** : The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal.
