This role focuses on building foundational skills in translating business needs into practical solutions, process development and refinement, maintaining compliance with DoD and federal standards, realizing operational efficiency, and collaborating with teams to drive project success. In this position you will: + Assist in gathering and documenting business and technical requirements under the guidance of senior team members. + Participate in stakeholder meetings, workshops, and interviews to collect information and refine project goals. + Help maintain requirement artifacts, such as user stories, process flows, and functional specifications, and Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTMs). + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify scope, objectives, and any ambiguities in requirements. + Contribute to identifying process improvement opportunities and recommending basic workflow enhancements. + Support testing and validation efforts to ensure solutions align with documented requirements. + Prepare and update project documentation, including status reports, issue logs, and change requests. + Communicate technical concepts and project updates to non-technical audiences as directed by senior analysts. + Adhere to DoD and federal standards throughout project tasks, ensuring data integrity and regulatory compliance. + Develop foundational problem-solving skills by working closely with senior analysts and learning from their expertise. **Basic Qualifications:** + As a requirement of this position, all candidates must be a U.S. Citizen. In accordance with 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(2)(C) , Epsilon will not consider candidates for this position who do not meet the aforementioned conditions. + Some relevant experience (e.g., 1 year) in business analysis, requirements gathering, or a related field (internship or co-op experience may be considered). + Familiarity with DoD or federal data standards and compliance requirements is a plus. + Basic exposure to business process modeling, workflow documentation, or requirements management tools. + Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical capabilities with a willingness to learn and adapt. + Effective communication skills for working with diverse teams and stakeholders. + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for handling documentation. + Ability to collaborate in a supportive team environment, taking direction from senior analysts. + Interest in understanding federal regulations, including security and privacy standards. + Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in business analysis best practices. **Other:** + Must hold an Active DOD Secret, Top Secret or TS/SCI Clearance + Must be located within a two (2) hour commute of the physical work location **Physical Demands and Working Conditions:** Listed below are the physical or mental requirements necessary for the job's performance.
