Join our US Consumer Risk Management team as a Business Analyst, where you'll play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making and process improvements in credit risk management.

Required Experience

Minimum 5 years as a hands-on Business Analyst in a large global organizationProven track record in risk management and complianceStrong background in requirements gathering and Business Requirements Documentation (BRD)Experience with Atlassian suite (JIRA and Confluence)Demonstrated expertise in process flow optimization.Experience in test script development and UAT testing coordination.Professional-level technical writing capabilitiesOutstanding communication skills, both written and verbal

Technical Skills

Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages like Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SQL preferred.Entry level experience with data visualization and business reporting frameworksUnderstanding of data mapping, transformation, and statistical analysisUnderstanding of data quality principles and reconciliation processes

Core Responsibilities

Project Management & DocumentationLead end-to-end requirements gathering process within SDLC.Develop and maintain comprehensive user guides and technical documentation.Participate in release management activities.Support disaster recovery and audit-related initiativesData Analysis & ReportingUnderstand and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for portfolio performance.Develop and implement business reporting frameworks.Conduct complex data analysis and derive actionable insights.Ensure data quality and maintain reconciliation processes.Stakeholder ManagementCollaborate with technical and business teams throughout project lifecycle.Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to all organizational levelsTranslate technical information for non-technical stakeholders.Build and maintain strong relationships across departments.

Salary:

$79,800.00 - $148,000.00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
