**Job Description**
We are looking for a **Business Analyst** to be responsible for providing business analysis support to CAI customers on small to medium projects. This position will be a **full-time contract** and **hybrid** .
**What You’ll Do**
+ Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring they are clearly understood and communicated.
+ Analysis and Documentation: Analyze business processes and workflows, identifying areas for improvement. Create detailed documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and process maps.
+ Solution Design: Work with IT and business teams to design and implement effective IT solutions that meet business needs. Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry best practices.
+ Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between IT and business stakeholders. Facilitate meetings, presentations, and workshops to ensure clear communication and alignment
+ Testing and Validation: Develop and execute test plans to ensure IT solutions meet business requirements. Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and address any issues that arise
+ Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend innovative solutions
**What You'll Need**
Required:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
+ Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in IT business analysis or a related field, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
+ Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies
+ Experience with project management tools and techniques
+ Knowledge of IT systems, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and agile methodologies
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
+ Strong organizational and time management skills
+ Practical application experience with Microsoft tools suite (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint)
Preferred:
+ Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or equivalent certification
+ Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP)
**Physical Demands**
+ Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
+ Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
+ Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
