Business Analyst
Job Description

Responsible to elicit and validate business requirements with stakeholders and to analyse and translate business requirements into requirement packages from which applications solutions are developed

The business analyst is responsible for defining business needs for new and/or enhanced products, services or optimised business processes

Business Analysis and Requirement Gathering

Collaborate with end users, stakeholders, and project owners to elicit and document business, functional, and technical requirements.Conduct thorough gap analyses between current and target specifications to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

Process Analysis and Improvement

Analyze existing business processes across the credit value chain, identifying areas for improvement and collaborating with stakeholders to implement optimized processes.Define end-to-end business processes and system requirements to achieve the desired process outcomes.

Solution Design and Development Support

Work closely with project teams to define metrics, performance goals, and acceptance criteria for solutions.Ensure requirements are translated into detailed test conditions and expected results for unit development, system integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Testing and Quality Assurance

Oversee the planning and execution of systems testing to ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements.Participate in design reviews, prototypes, and quality assurance processes to validate deliverables.

Stakeholder Engagement

Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to understand business priorities and challenges within Commercial Banking.Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business units, ensuring seamless communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

Risk Management and Compliance

Integrate risk management practices into business processes and system designs, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.Support ongoing monitoring and evaluation of risk management processes to maintain system integrity and effectiveness.

Key Skills and Competencies

Strong understanding of Commercial Banking operations, with specific expertise in Loan Management and Ongoing Risk Management.Proficient in conducting gap analyses and developing requirement packages for complex systems.Experience with process optimization, performance metrics, and system testing methodologies.Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Analytical mindset with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.4+ years of experience in business analysis, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.Familiarity with credit value chain processes and regulatory requirements in Commercial Banking.Job Details
