Reporting to the Sr. Manager Commissions, the Business Analyst will be responsible for a wide range of Vivint planning, financial analysis, and management reporting, including providing financial support to Vivint management.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support planning, budgeting, forecasting, performance management, and reportingHelp determine Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Develop Models for new business ideas, products, and channelsSupport monthly close process, and execute SOX controlsSupport continuous improvement initiatives surrounding data quality, and systems capabilityPrepare variance and trend analysis, and provide proactive recommendations for addressing variances in budgetProvide ad hoc analytics

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Detailed understanding of financial budgeting and forecasting concepts and modelingExperience with planning and analysis software tools (experience with Adaptive Planning and FPR software a plus)Solid understanding of GAAP and financial statementsStrong critical thinking skills, with an ability to identify trends in financial data and develop creative solutions to address negative trendsAbility to organize and analyze large datasetsExcellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with senior managementAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExperience in a company with multiple routes to market is a plusExperience in a High Tech Company is a plus

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

3+ years of experience in an Analyst role, a challenging environmentBachelor’s Degree (Finance preferred)Accounting background a plusExcellent oral and written communication skills

WORKING CONDITIONS:   

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
