Job Summary:
The Business Analyst will support the United States Air Force (USAF) at the Government’s AFMC OO-ALC facilities located at Hill AFB, Utah. by conducting RIEs, CPIs and other similar initiatives as required during the task order period of performance (PoP). The Government expects to have a requirement for multiple such events throughout the PoP. It is not necessary for the Business Analyst to be content experts, but they shall lead a group of government personnel in utilizing tools of “operational excellence” to improve upon existing processes.

Pay Range- $79,000-$84,000

Responsibilities/Duties:The Business Analyst shall be responsible for event preparation and execution to include charter development, ensuring team focus during the event, and providing guidance to the team toward their goals. The Business Analyst shall begin the planning process approximately four (4) weeks prior to the scheduled event or as required to accommodate the scheduled date of the event. The Business Analyst shall work with the applicable government area supervisor or team lead to structure meetings and select the tools needed for operational excellence. The government will identify the processes that are to be the topics of the events and the major stakeholders. Approximately four (4) weeks prior to the scheduled event, the Business Analyst shall prepare for the event by collecting and securing all required materials for the event to ensure all appropriate resources are available. The Business Analyst shall plan events so they can be accomplished over a five-day period. The Business Analyst, with the assistance of the program Manager, shall lead these events. The Business Analyst shall lead a team in the review of current processes, identify problem areas and their root causes and guide the team to identify actionable solutions. The Business Analyst shall schedule a follow up meeting with all stakeholders to discuss the progress on action items and ensure that they are being worked approximately four (4) to six (6) weeks following the process improvement event. The Business Analyst shall provide comprehensive logistical support to the PM. Including consistent communication before, during, and after events and provide guidance on action item follow-up to completion.
