We are seeking motivated individuals located near our office in Camp Hill, PA; with excellent communication and analysis skills who demonstrate experience working with end users and technical teams to elicit and document the requirements and best practices needed build or configure high quality software solutions. Must thrive in a high energy environment, excel at working without significant supervision, be independently motivated, outgoing, diplomatic, detailed, schedule driven and accountable.
Responsibilities:
Work in multi-disciplinary project teams made up of software developers, business analysts, GIS analysts, technical managers, and business subject matter expertsParticipate in requirements elicitation with client to define needsDocument As-Is environment and business workflowsModel business processesSupport the compilation of To-Be environment and business workflowsParticipate in agile and waterfall software development lifecyclesSupport training materials and support training class delivery based on varying client needsDocument meeting minutes, draft business needs assessments, and perform gap analysisCompile user stories with the requisite details and acceptance criteriaDevelop and execute test cases to confirm system requirementsGenerate mock-ups, wireframes, or related graphics to illustrate requirements or workflowsWork with developers to clarify requirements throughout the application development processMinimum Qualifications
4 year degree, B.A., B.S. 2 years’ experience functioning as a Business AnalystMust have experience in business operations and workflow analysis, training, technical writing and/or project life cycle documentation
Required Skills/Experience
Strong desire to learn a client’s business and to help ensure software solutions meet their needsPassion for working with data and at least a basic understanding of data management processesAbility to work directly with clients to gather requirements based on their needs and translate those requirements into tasks for developersAbility to operate as a member of a project team tasked to complete scheduled deliverables for a clientExcellent communication and organizational skills Experience with MS Office Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Experience analyzing client needs and working with a team to develop solutionsExperience with configuring software to meet end user needsExperience building test cases to confirm requirementsExperience with Tableau, PowerBI or similar toolExperience building and maintaining a Requirements Traceability MatrixExperience preparing and documenting a testing planFamiliarity with GIS and/or geospatial technologyExperience with Azure DevOps and/or JIRA
