Kforce has a client in Birmingham, AL that is seeking a Business Analyst who will support initiatives related to fraud detection and prevention by ensuring system changes and enhancements meet business requirements and do not introduce unintended issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software testing, particularly regression testing, and be comfortable validating outcomes against requirements using SQL and other tools. Strong communication and analytical skills are key to success in this role. Responsibilities: * Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for fraud, claims, and card systems * Collaborate with development, QA, and business stakeholders to validate technical changes and ensure requirements are met * Perform or support regression testing to validate that new code does not impact existing functionality * Investigate and document defects, working with developers to resolve issues * Use SQL to perform data validation, ad-hoc queries, and support root cause analysis * Serve as a liaison between business units and IT to ensure alignment of goals and deliverables * Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives as needed
