Business Analyst: Product Owner

Purpose of the role:
Gain a deep understanding of the business, their strategy and what enhancement or change would be of the highest value or lowering risk Leads the digital product by analysis and clearly articulating the feature or project to ensure business alignment and understanding from the technical team to collaboratively design, build and implement the solution Ensuring:
The digital product has a clear vision for their product and/or initiative The vision and impact are further defined into executable EPIC's, User Stories and/or Features Communication within both business and technical teams are effective
An environment of high trust is maintained Skills:
Leadership - being able to "hold the line" with business pressures and protecting team flow and dynamics Outstanding communication skills - being able to communicate, resolve conflict and provide practical ways forward is key to the role GRIT - perseverance and passion to achieve goals Coaching - coach both business and technical teams on DevOps and Agile best practice, change management Solid understanding of how to design a coherent system from various departments and user requirements Superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities Create order and structure Excellent organisational and leadership skills Technical knowledge and expertise Ability to explain complex concepts or technical jargon and applicable terms Affinity for innovation Team player with the ability to motivate and mobilise teams Forward thinking and the ability to develop a long-term vision Creative thinker Ability to understand Afrikaans will be highly advantageous Passionate about using technology to make an impact
Responsibilities:
Manage the direction and backlog of digital products Create the artifacts to build and enhance a digital platform Work collaboratively with business and teach teams to achieve the company vision and strategy Taking on an active leadership role, leading and directing the product or initiative from design to user adoption
