Business Analyst, Brand Experience
The Brand Experience and Excellence organization creates, builds and leads innovation for brand owners in the Amazon store worldwide. The Customer Acquisition and Loyalty team in this organization focuses on helping Brands engage Customers on and off Amazon, develop a winning strategy for Brands to leverage social media to build stronger brands, and launch great products that resonate with Customers and achieve success.

We are looking for a passionate, results-oriented Business Analyst to own defining, building, and scaling metrics and analytical insights. As a business analyst, you will use your analytical mind to drive operations, strategy, and planning. You will ensure that we are capturing and surfacing the right data and information to make informed business decisions, working closely with cross functional members of the team and partner teams. You’ll collaborate with engineers to build self-service reports and establish automated processes for large scale data analyses. You should be analytical with strong business acumen and detail-oriented with proven problem-solving skills.

The ideal candidate has worked in depth in identifying business insights through data analysis, including experience extracting and manipulating data using SQL, leveraging BI services such as QuickSight for data analysis, and producing digestible business intelligence and actionable information. The candidate should also have strong communication and project management skills, enabling them to work with key business stakeholders to understand requirements and shape analytical deliverables. He/she should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to work cross-organizationally.

Key job responsibilities
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, ETL, data modeling, and working with large data sets.
• Establish financial reporting for your business area. Understand input drivers and validate integrity of the reporting to influence strategic decision-making and planning.
• Use data to identify disruptive ideas and provide advice to WW business leaders .
• Build and drive planning, forecasting, and reporting models.
• Use active listening skills intuitively to communicate data (both written and verbal) in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner. Adjust style for various audiences to articulate complex finance issues clearly. Your communications drive critical business decisions.
• Drive use of analytical and operational excellence best practices.
