AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

AWS Global Demand & Operations (GDO) team is seeking a seasoned business analyst to empower business decision making along Lead Flow Process by building our owned data analytics and processes. You will own and build GDO's next-generation data analytics, offer business insigts for optimizing lead flow process. Key job responsibilities
As a Business Analyst at AWS GDO team, you will:
- Work in a large, complex and dynamic data environment. You will work with data sources, such as Salesforce, first party applications, data warehouse across multiple teams;
- Build and deliver high quality data analytics solutions to meet both analytics and business requirements;
- Work closely with Scientists, BI Engineer, software developers, product managers, and business owners to develop and define key business questions, document requirements on the solutions.
- Design, implement, and operate stable, scalable, business solutions with data insights and business acumen.

Preference for this role to be in Austin or Seattle.

A day in the life
GDO consists of seven global sub-teams, Lead Management & Operations (LMO), Global Demand and Solution Center (GDSC, previously MRC), and Campaign Management Team (CMT) each aligning with its vertical business. Horizontally, there are three functional teams supporting Strategy & Analytics, Engineering, Business Operations across entire GDO. Our mission/goal is to improve AWS customer’s cloud journey in order to generate demand throughout the buyer lifecycle, through personalized human nurturing, advanced lead management technology, and best-in-class lead and campaign engagement experience.

About the team
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.
