We are currently seeking a Business Account Manager to support the next growth phase of our leading enterprise assay analysis software solution, Genedata Screener. You will leverage your exceptional relationship-building and teamwork skills, your market knowledge, and your scientific expertise to confidently navigate client opportunities to a successful closure. You will be part of a rapidly growing company providing a leading enterprise software solution for the processing, analysis, and management of bioassay data to the top biopharmaceutical companies worldwide . This is a full-time permanent position in the Genedata Screener Business Unit located in Basel. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: + Driving sustainable business growth in the selected accounts + Planning and executing the selling process, from initial opportunity qualification up to price and contract negotiation, as well as post-sales relationship management + Building trusted relationships with decision-makers at various organizational levels, communicate the value of Screener, and identify additional avenues for growth + Constantly creating a sales pipeline by nurturing selected prospects or pursuing opportunities for expansion within accounts + Representing the company at conferences, trade shows, and networking events + Demonstrating competence in collaboration, teamwork, and communication with other Genedata teams and functions The essential requirements of the job include : + Undergraduate degree in natural sciences required ( e.g. molecular biology, biotechnology, biomedical engineering, biochemistry, chemistry, physics) + Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in sales, business development, and/or account management within a business-to-business environment + Knowledge of pharmaceutical research and familiarity with biopharma research and development processes + Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English + Willingness and ability to travel (at least 20% on average) It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: + Experience with enterprise software sales is a plus + Proficiency in German and/or French is a plus + Postgraduate degree in Life Sciences (MSc or PhD) Genedata , a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives.
