Job Summary
The DC Bulk Dept. Receiver is responsible for receiving all bulk foods and supplies used in the packaging of 450 articles. The receiver sets delivery appointments, unloads shipments, stages pallets for quality inspection, receives materials into inventory based on NGVC standards. This position requires prior experience with inventory management software and stand-up reach truck.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities
Receives and examines goods shipped; restacks pallets as neededVerifies completeness and accuracy of shipments against purchase orders and packing slips. Enters goods received into SAP inventory system and maintains record of inbound receiptsDetermines storage locations for inbound products to maintain allergen and organic separationMoves goods into and out of warehouse using forklift.Assists with staging material for production; put away of finished goodsAssists with pulling store orders and replenishment of pick slotsCommunicates with QC and Purchasing depts. regarding any discrepancies at time of receiving.Conducts monthly cycle counts of bulk raw materials.Ensures that all work areas are kept clean and free of debris Performs all operations in a manner that promotes safetyAssists in other warehouse tasks such as inventory, housekeeping, warehouse organizationMay be assigned to other warehouse duties as needed

High School diploma or equivalent is required2-5 years of warehouse experience required, to include inventory management softwareMust have current, valid driver’s licenseAbility to read, write and speak English clearly and concisely is requiredPrevious forklift experience required and ability to be certified by NGVCHas excellent attention to detail; accuracy and thoroughness is a must. Ability to work with others in a fast-paced team environmentFlexibility with working hours to accommodate warehouse needsMust be reliable and on time every dayAble to work in seasonally warm or cool environmentAble to assist in other departments as neededFamiliar with Microsoft Word and/or Data Entry requiredSAP experience helpfulPrevious experience in a food manufacturing facility desirablePrevious experience with GMP’s, HACCP and food safety desirable Must have Colorado drivers licenseThis job description is not an employment contract.
