Bulk Loader

Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company, has an immediate need for a Bulk Loader in our Plant facility located in Fresno, TX. The role performs duties that involve loading / unloading bulk containers of raw materials and Ecolab products. Activities are performed at a rapid pace and require contact with fellow workers and delivering truck drivers. The incumbent is dependent on others to accomplish tasks for the overall performance of his/her department.

What You Will Do:

Locates and moves trailers and communicate to drivers to do the same with tankers so that the loading/ unloading can occur in the desired order for inventory replenishment or delivery dispatch/product availabilityProperly prepares each railcar or truck and ensures that connections are done correctlyAssures that inventory is stored in a clean, efficient mannerObtains a sample of material prior to and after loading or unloading and submits to the lab for approvalVerifies the flow path of the raw material or product by a visual check of the appropriate system. Checks appearance of the material or product for inconsistenciesAs required by business needs or as assigned by management other duties within labor gradeOperates forklifts and mules or shuttle wagonsHooks up and shuttles tanker trucks aroundOrganizes the trailer holding areasUtilizes SAP to receive and process paperwork both of incoming raw material and outgoing finished good Bills of Lading
 

Position Details: 

Plant location: Fresno, TXWork week and shift: 12-hour rotational DuPont scheduleCompensation: $27 / hour. Hourly Compensation is based on full-time 40 hours per week. Overtime is required, depending on business needs.
 

Minimum Qualifications: 

High School diploma or equivalent2 years of industrial manufacturing experienceForklift experienceNo immigration sponsorship for this roleMust be able to read/speak English 
 

Physical Demands

Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs 
 

 Preferred Qualifications:

Forklift certification or ability to be recertifiedAbility and desire to learn new processes and equipment as the business changesAbility to work independently with minimal direct supervisionStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to use a computerized batching system Ability to work effectively in a team environment Ability to visually interpret dials, gauges and switches Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations Ability to understand the operation of equipment being used and its relationship to the loading/unloading and production processesDOT training  

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range:

$25.00 – $27.00 / hour. This position pays an hourly rate and is eligible for overtime. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
