Essential Job FunctionsInspect trucks and rail cars to insure adherence with ADM loading requirements. Complete necessary documents and inspection reports.Operate valves, pumps, and equipment in order to transfer dry products from storage to final vessel.Sample product and properly seal trucks and railcars upon completion of loading to insure correct content, volume, and weights.Complete related records of product transferred, insuring the accuracy of such records and input related data into a computer.Notify supervisor of any needed repairs (and document need to repair department equipment).Inspect and perform preventive maintenance duties on department equipment.Maintain food-grade sanitation standards throughout assigned facilities. Insure cleanliness through regular cleaning which may include shoveling, sweeping and washing of floors and equipment.Must communicate effectively and work well with other departments, Commercial, Office Staff and Drivers.Work closely with the other loaders to insure efficient coordination of assigned tasksMust work in a 4-Shift Rotation and be available Weekends and HolidaysPhysical RequirementsAbility to work in extreme temperaturesAbility to lift fifty pounds routinely, climb stairs and ladders, and work at high elevations
