Building Services Technician

Building Services Technician will assist and support the Chief Engineer. Duties will be to assist with maintaining the facilities process's and client's request.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Complete assigned tasks that include but are not limited to: painting, cleaning, plumbing, HVAC systems, water treatment, hanging pictures, repair office furniture, and general maintenanceMaintain work order system (360) daily and complete any tenant service requestsMoves office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials as requestedPerform assigned preventive maintenance and inspection tasksSupport on-call or emergency response situations (if applicable)Troubleshoot all building systems, including electrical, HVAC, plumbingManage building automated system (BAS)Comply with all safety proceduresParticipate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programsAbility to work with minimal supervision.Maintain HVAC equipment filter scheduling and change out.Perform building and equipment inspections (eye wash's, fire extinguishers, lab hood exhaust)Assist with event set-ups (table / chairs)Work directly with client, vendors and event coordinatorsOver see contractors (Janitorial, Landscaping, Catering)Use basic carpentry and plumbing skills to maintain facilityHave the flexibility to assist with off hour eventsUse basic computer skills to communicate and document services (Microsoft, Outlook, Word, Adobe, Excel, etc.)Other projects and tasks to be assignedWHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
<1 year of related work experience, especially in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical or carpentry (preferred)Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams)Ability to lift up to 50 lbsComfort using ladders up to 12 feet tallAbility to frequently climb, bend, kneel, lift and/or driveStrong customer service skillsWorking Hours 7A - 3:30P - Monday thru Friday
