**Job Description:**
**Schedule:** 3rd Shift 7:00pm to 5:30am, Monday - Friday, with rotating for Saturday work based on production schedule.
**Work Location:** 1325 Chase Ave, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007
**Benefits:** Based on Union Contract Provisions
**Salary, based on experience and other qualifications:** 3rd Shift: $20.71 per hour, plus $0.30 shift differential.
**Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:**
leaning Equipment following company cleaning procedures
Safe disassembly and re-assembly of process and packing equipment
Set-up or change-over equipment after cleaning process --
Sanitizing Equipment using spraying system
Lock out/Tag out of equipment
Operate CIP system, set up cleaning of retail lines, egg system and tanks
Document all work performed, update and maintain master
sanitation schedule completion forms
Operation of all cleaning equipment, floor scrubber, compactor, baler, foamers
Able to lift 50 Lbs.
Able to work overtime
Operation of equipment to ensure sanitization
Operation of Forklifts/Man Lifts
Competency of MSDS Chemical Safety
Occasionally supporting packaging operations for production related duties
Support operations in production work as needed
Learn details of front office cleaning, lockers, washrooms.
Additional tasks as needed
**Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills**
+ Must possess good oral and written communication skills as well as basic math skills
+ Read, write, and communicate in English
+ Must be organized and detail oriented
+ Should be familiar with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, basic OSHA safety regulations and have at least 6 months' experience in a food manufacturing facility
+ Must be able to lift at least 55 pounds and work at high elevations, in confined areas, in extreme heat and cold and in outside conditions regularly
+ Must be able to navigate numerous flights of stairs/ladders on a continual basis
+ Learn how to operate a variety of sanitation equipment (i.e., floor scrubbers, man lifts, high pressure washers, fork trucks, etc.).
+ Use various hand tools like scrapers, air hose, ladders, wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.
+ Work independently and as part of a team
