Job Summary Summary: Serves as the primary liaison with the MedStar Corporate Central Office (CCO) building management and engineers to ensure the overall environment, including climate control, level of cleanliness, operation of equipment and general appearance is maintained in a professional manner. Interfaces with visitors, external vendors and other MedStar Health (MSH) entities and associates regarding all levels of office and general business requirements. Responsible for managing the CCO Emergency Phone Line during periods of inclement weather and other emergency events. Job Duties * As a Corporate Office Director and associate liaison, works independently and with appropriate parties to compose, request and put into action various initiatives that will benefit the corporation and employee environment in a positive and productive manner. * Resolves various day-to-day matters, issues and projects when determined to be within scope of authority. * Oversees all clerical, front-desk employees. * Manages work schedules, keeps track of hours, and properly trains all associates. In the case of an absence, serves as back-up and works effectively as a team to aid and assist associates throughout the shift. * Oversees the administrative staff workflow to ensure uninterrupted operations and appropriate coverage. * Acts as primary communicator to staff in the corporate office for building and office-related matters. * Assists in the general maintenance of the building relating to the CCO requirements, including after-hours security access system, lobby directory and other required building signage, the performance of annual fire drills, and the maintenance of a log of all tenant requests/issues with cleaning service. * Coordinates and ensures smooth operation of courier and interoffice mail service between corporate and the MedStar system. Serves as the primary contact for Security Company (access cards). * Ensures appropriate support for Conference Center, Board Meetings, and centrally managed Conference Space. * Maintains up-to-date space utilization drawings for CCO, receives new requests for space needs, and devises space solutions. * Provides appropriate input and oversight of critical areas necessary for business continuity, including security, parking, vendor, supplies, mail, and building management procedures. * Proactively communicates transition schedules, news, and procedures to ensure associates are fully informed. Coordinates transition activities, such as, packing/moving office equipment and associate work areas, and transferring voice/data lines and hardware. Apply to Crothall today!
