We’re happy to discuss hybrid, part-time and flexible working hours, patterns and locations to suit you and our business. **About the Opportunity** We are recruiting for a Building Manager to join our Business Operation teams in Birchwood, Warrington. You will work alongside a team of Building Manager’s, electrical and mechanical specialists looking after all aspects of general building and laboratory specific repair and maintenance. **Key Responsibilities:** As the primary appointed person of allocated laboratory building portfolio, the responsibilities are split into three allocations: **Core Tasks** + Effective planning and delivery of; the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) within allocated building(s), cost efficient reactive remedial works, small works programs to exceed customer expectations. + Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and support our compliance + Vendor Management + Permit to work and other Safe System of Work Accountability + Drive lean and energy efficiency initiatives + Interact with building users as required and facilitate necessary communication between stakeholders. **Compliance Tasks** + Preparation of a rota for Health and Safety Walks conducted by others within the building to ensure full coverage. + Accident and incident investigation and documentation + Capital planning for portfolio + Lead on Facilities, Health and Safety, Quality engagement sessions + Owner of Nonconformance Report's (NCR) within own building(s) + Branded PPE Compliance **Customer Tasks** + Building owner and landlord relationship management + Building Induction coordinator + Proactive management of purchase orders **Here’s What You’ll Need** + BA (Hons) or equivalent or Relevant industry experience + IOSH trained prepared to undertake the NEBOSH General Certification and other accredited compliance courses. To be self-motivated in own personal continuous development. + Able to interact with a range of individuals from workshop staff to scientists + Ability to multitask and manage well conflicting priorities. + Able to obtain base level of Security Clearance **Our Culture:** Our values stand on a foundation of safety, integrity, inclusion and diversity.
