This group is able to seek the best projects with the best clients because they deliver expertise that empower designers to create high performing buildings without compromising budget or function. **Your Key Responsibilities** + Performs periodic site visits and utilize a site visit reporting system to identify and update action items + Performs field testing to confirm building enclosure performance (water, air leakage, EFVM, infrared testing, etc.) + Manages and coordinates small and large projects + Conducts business development to secure revenue-generating projects + Client management + Prepares proposals and establish project financial budgets + Mentors junior staff + Participates in continuing education + Perform drawing reviews, specification reviews and submittal reviews + Represent Stantec at mock-up reviews, periodic site observations and field testing + Represent Stantec at client external meetings + Interface with architects, general contractors, and sub-trades. + Undertake assessments with Technical Lead involvement on site with assessment of existing buildings and the preparation of building envelope assessment reports **Qualifications** **Your Capabilities and Credentials** + Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field, preferably with a background in Building Science + Minimum of 5 years’ experience in building science consultation or equivalent knowledge of building envelope systems + Registration either as Professional Engineer, Registered Architect or Consultant designation with RCI is desirable + Excellent knowledge of Rain Screen principles, Air Barriers and Thermal Performance + Organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks on multiple projects + Project management experience + Ability to work in a team environment + Strong customer service commitment + Excellent communication and documentation skills + Professional attitude + Commitment to succeed + Pursuing registration either as a Professional Engineer or Registered Architect is a plus + Knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD is desirable. + Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle **Education and Experience** + Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field required. + Pursuing registration either as a Professional Engineer or Registered Architect is a plus. _This description is not a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that may be required of the employee and other duties, responsibilities and activities may be assigned or may be changed at any time with or without notice._ Stantec is a place where the best and brightest come to build on each other’s talents, do exciting work, and make an impact on the world around us.
