Our world renowned Oil & Gas Operator client are recruiting for a Budget/Cost Control Lead to join their team for a 12 month contract in Paris, France on a Joint Venture Project. This is a full-time position with the opportunity for renewal and potential to follow the role to Baku, Azerbaijan.

Role Overview

Oversee Budget & Cost Control: Monitor and manage project budget and schedule to ensure cost efficiency. Ensure Compliance: Maintain compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations. Collaborate with Large Teams: Work effectively in a large, collaborative team with multiple sites and partners. Identify Deviations & Take Corrective Actions: Proactively identify cost deviations and implement corrective actions. Offshore Drilling Experience: Familiarity with offshore drilling operations. Project Management: Utilize project management skills to ensure successful completion of the project. Early Cost Identification: Identify potential cost issues early on and take necessary actions to mitigate them.

Skills & Qualifications

Cost & Schedule Management: Strong understanding of cost and schedule management principles. Budgeting Skills: Ability to create and manage project budgets. Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with financial policies, procedures, and regulations. Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in large, collaborative teams. Offshore Drilling Experience: Previous experience in offshore drilling operations. Project Management Skills: Ability to effectively manage projects and ensure timely completion. Attention to Detail: Keen eye for identifying potential cost issues and taking corrective actions. Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills to identify deviations and implement solutions.

Education & Experience

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience preferred. Experience: Strong experience in cost and schedule management, budgeting, and project management within the oil & gas industry. Languages: Fluent in English.
