Apply Today! **Job Summary and Qualifications** As Budget Analyst you will be responsible for the processing and execution of research site budgets and contracts. This position interprets the protocol from a financial perspective, liaises with research partners and the clinical teams to finalize overall budget ranges, as well as works with HRI and research partner legal teams to negotiate and finalize all research site agreements.​ **Major Responsibilities:** + Creating new budgets in Excel based upon cost and charge information, analyzing each clinical trial protocol in order to provide a detailed offer while meeting established metrics surrounding each budget. + Negotiating budgets with Sponsors/CROs/Sites in order to result in a favorable overall result, while establishing and maintaining business relationships for future negotiations. + Maintaining and effectively communicating to executive management statuses for all assigned budgets. + Proactively communicating and soliciting input from clinical teams, management, and others in order to receive timely clarification on protocol specifics, standard of care, billable items and other nuances affecting the budget. + Reviews and processes all applicable protocol amendments + Reviewing clinical trial agreements, contract amendments, confidentiality agreements, and nondisclosure agreements received from pharmaceutical sponsors or contract research organizations + Collaborating with Legal team and other departments to ensure interests are clearly identified + Maintains effective communication with the support teams on statuses for all assigned research budgets and agreements + Serving as Site Liaison and point of contact for budget and contract issues for designated sites + Preparing and presenting all assigned budgets to the executive leadership + Preparing and executing all site-specific practice agreements to facilitate proper payment of physicians for their time, effort, and equipment + Interfacing with finance team to understand the requirements and ramifications of budget design on study accruals and receivables + Performs other duties and projects as assigned + Practices and adheres to the "Code of Conduct" philosophy and "Mission and Value Statement." + During your employment with HRI, you will be routinely assigned training requirements. You are expected to complete any training assignments by the due date **Education & Experience:** + Bachelor’s Degree required + Master’s Degree preferred + Less than 1 year of relevant experience required + 1+ years(s) of experience in budget negotiation, familiarity with clinical research and/or medical terminology preferred.
