Overview About the role: We are seeking two confident and motivated individuals to join our professional and dynamic team in Wellington. In this role, you will handle the processing of new business, renewals, and endorsements, while serving as the key point of contact for clients and underwriters. Ideally you excel at engaging with people and possess exceptional communication and relationship-building skills to service, develop, and maintain a well-established portfolio of loyal clients. While previous experience in the insurance industry is highly advantageous, it is not a requirement as comprehensive training will be provided. How you'll make an impact Key Accountabilities: Build knowledge and understanding of our clients’ domestic insurance needs to provide tailored advice Deliver expert domestic insurance advice and products to our clients Service renewals, new business, alterations and endorsements Manage and resolve client enquiries (cover queries, policy amendments) Partner with the claims team to manage the claims process Provide clients with timely and accurate updates on domestic insurance claims Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure trust and brand loyalty exists Skills and Experience: Previous experience either working in a corporate environment in broking or claims or a similar role is advantageous The ability to build and maintain enduring relationships with clients and team members Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure A certificate in Financial Services (NZQA Level 5) will be a huge advantage but note: while you will need to be NZQA level 5 qualified with a Certificate in Financial Services we don’t expect you to bring this to the table. For the right candidate we will pay for and provide you with the support to gain your qualification through our study support program.
