We’re looking for a confident and professional experienced Commercial Broker to join our team based in Beaumont Street, Auckland Central. Working collaboratively, you will service a portfolio of clients providing timely and trusted advice. You will inherit and grow an established and profitable book of client business and will be instrumental in developing Gallagher’s continued growth, reputation and status in the industry and marketplace. How you'll make an impact Continually develop and manage exceptional client relationships to achieve Gallagher’s commitment to deliver an outstanding experience and in doing so earn their trust and loyalty. Actively develop business confidence in Gallagher through maintaining relevant relationships within the business markets including strategic alliances Apply best practice ethically, professionally and act with integrity in all circumstances so that Gallagher’s reputation and brand is never undermined Responsible for developing and maintaining a clear insight of the client’s business and the day-to-day servicing of new and renewal client business Lead and deliver the end to end ongoing client service, adhering to service standards and regulations Prepare and execute client and prospect presentations considering the impact of client profitability Understand the clients’ business and risk management needs and look for solutions to deliver those needs through the provision of ongoing service Actively identify opportunities to work with colleagues/specialisms across the business to capitalise on account penetration and cross selling opportunities Generate growth within the existing portfolio and convert new business Develop and execute a strategic business growth plan Present powerful, persuasive presentations that effectively demonstrate our value proposition Proactively cross sell and promote products to clients including premium funding, cyber risk, domestic insurance and life and health Skills and Experience: Previous commercial insurance broking experience (minimum of 4+ years) Strong relationship building, influencing and negotiation skills Proven ability to develop and manage complex client accounts Experience in developing new business opportunities A strong sense of team work and a committed work ethic Demonstrated understanding of NZ insurance policies and regulations Holds a Certificate in Financial Services (NZQA Level 5) Benefits: Comprehensive reward and recognition programme Life insurance benefit (T&Cs apply) Discounted personal insurance Yearly wellness contribution Yearly flu vaccinations We support you to develop your skills with excellent learning and development opportunities within a friendly team environment.
