Your Role:
Design bridges, culverts and retaining walls Plan production including 3D Modeling and CADD Load rating analysis of bridges Utilize structural design software Prepare structural evaluation studies, structure-type studies, and similar reports Computation of estimated quantities, plan notes, and development of cost estimates Site visits to support the design process Supervise the design and ongoing progress of a project, including the coordination of the project with state and local officials and other outside agencies and sub-consultants Participate in business development efforts and meet with clientsQualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering Professional Engineer (PE) License, required 10+ years of engineering experience, which must include bridge design and plan production Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record Familiarity with Ohio DOT bridge design standards Experience with computer software such as OpenRoads, AutoCAD, OpenBridge Designer, AASHTOWare BrR Experience as Bridge Inspection Team Leader is a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills This position could require periodic travel, approximately 15% or moreSalary Range: $90,000 - $120,000, DOE
