The American Heart Association  has an excellent opportunity for a Brand Marketing Manager in our National Center office located in Dallas, TX. This position can be home based.


In this role, you will be responsible for oversight and development of brand asset standards, as well as developing marketing plans and campaign schedules for assigned Association business areas to help advance market objectives and impact goals. Responsible for overseeing marketing execution and analyzing results of marketing plans. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams (Business Unit, Communications, Research, Science, Digital and Social as examples) to engage the public in paid, owned and earned go to market activities that deliver against aligned metrics. Responsible for building and managing relationships with all stakeholders internally and externally to meet business needs and fulfill assigned marketing plans. Strong project management and communication abilities are essential to this role. This role will report to the Vice President of National Brand Marketing.

 

Expected pay range will be $80,000 to $85,000. Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials to the pay range may apply. The American Heart Association reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range.

Responsibilities

 

In collaboration with the VP of Brand Marketing, research, identify and recommend marketing strategies, tactics and plans that promote the public health and business objectives of this funded program.Oversee compliance of brand standards for American Heart Association and develop standards for its individual programs. Oversee content and questions related to the Association’s BrandHub, which provide brand guidance, standards and templates. Work with research team to conduct market analysis, baseline testing and assessment of opportunities that meet target needs. Develop briefs, timelines and annual / seasonal integrated marketing plans that effectively target audiences, and address identified gaps and opportunities to advance goals.  Lead marketing campaign project management, including planning implementation, execution, and measurement. Collaborate with internal and external teams and agencies / vendors to ensure content is delivered efficiently and effectively, while aligning to overall marketing strategies to inspire audiences to take action.  Analyze and optimize campaigns in market, reporting on effectiveness, opportunities and lessons learned. Works with analysts and cross-functional teams to develop and deliver performance reports, insights and recommendations for actions and future considerations.Implements tests and learns. Partners across departments and business units to build, track, and optimize advertising campaigns (SEM, social, display).

 

Qualifications

 

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (Business Administration, Public Health, and/or Marketing degree)Three (3) to five (5) years of work-related experienceExperience with project management frameworks and platformsExperience with understanding and implementing brand standards across a variety of marketing communicationsExperience in executing integrated marketing campaigns to address business needsExperience working with multiple vendors / partners with critical timelines and multiple project requirements.Basic knowledge of populations and audience messaging for social determinants of healthExcellent cross-functional team, project, and organizational leadership skills with the proven ability to interact with and influence across all levels and functionsAbility to capture audiences with compelling narratives and possesses excellent deckbuilding and written/verbal communication skillsUnderstanding of basic marketing metrics and analytics
