Brand Manager (10917)

Description

The successful candidate would be able to work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment implementing core marketing objectives in line with business objectives, scope projects, and build relationships with external agencies and partners while managing their deliverables. 

The individual will also maintain brand guidelines / integrity, identifying out of the ordinary approaches (as the status quo on all projects) as well as managing projects and implementation thereof.

Attention to detail, a client-centric approach and a strong track record in client communications is crucial. 

Responsibilities

Work with the business in identifying core marketing objectives in line with their business objectives Develop the strategy and manage the marketing activities that drive demand of our products and support business objectives Scope projects in collaboration with internal specialist areas Identify relevant external agencies and partners and manage their deliverables Manage timelines, expectations and relationships Project management and implementation Set success metrics and measure results A good understanding of the media consumption patterns of various audiences Sourcing, curating, crafting content (text, visual, long form, video, infographics) Engage with relevant partners across business units and geographies Delivery driven Good verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to relate to individuals at all levels Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines Managing budgets A highly proactive approach Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships Excellent leadership, organisational, negotiation and multi-tasking skills Resourceful, team player, high energy and flexible with excellent attention to detail Ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast paced and deadline driven environment

 

Experience, skills and capability

Minimum of 4 - 5 years in the commercial industry, brand management experience would be advantageous    Formal marketing or related business qualification (degree or diploma) Passion for brand and marketing environment Flexible and adaptable with an ability to multi-task Can-do attitude Relationship builder at all levels, with a collaborative approach Strong team player  Pride in perfection Thrive in an environment that frequently questions and challenges
