The Brand Identity Manager at the SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and evolving the SEARHC brand across all internal and external platforms. This role is crucial in ensuring that the brand identity consistently reflects SEARHC’s mission, vision, values, and commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare to the people of Southeast Alaska. As a member of the Communications & Marketing (C&M) team, the Brand Identity Manager will work closely with the Senior System Director of Brand Identity & Tribal Relations, as well as fellow C&M team members, and other departments to create cohesive branding strategies and executions that resonate with both local and broader audiences.Primarily work in an office environment but may be required to travel throughout Southeast Alaska to engage with local communities, stakeholders, and healthcare facilities. Key Essential Functions and Accountabilities of the Job
Brand Development and Activation
Lead the development and implementation of SEARHC’s brand activation
Ensure that the brand application aligns with the organization’s mission, values, and goals, and reflects the unique cultural heritage of Southeast Alaska.
Conduct brand audits and market research to identify opportunities for brand enhancement.
Brand Management
Manage the consistent application of SEARHC’s brand guidelines across all departments, ensuring uniformity in visual and verbal communications.
Manage the creation and dissemination of brand assets, including logos, color palettes, typography, and templates.
Collaborate with various teams to ensure that all marketing materials, communications, and public-facing content are on-brand.
Establish and cultivate a consistent look and feel across the Consortium’s various physical assets and create a process for addressing any deficiencies within the branding guidelines.
Creative Direction
Serve as a creative sounding board for all brand-related projects, including advertising campaigns, digital and print materials, social media, and public relations efforts.
Partner with external agencies, designers, and vendors to execute creative projects that align with SEARHC’s brand identity.
Cultural Integration
Incorporate elements of Southeast Alaska’s indigenous cultures into the brand identity in a way that is respectful, authentic and aligned with community values.
Work with local tribes and cultural experts to ensure that SEARHC’s brand is inclusive and reflective of the communities it serves.
Internal Branding
Develop and implement internal branding initiatives to foster a strong sense of identity and purpose among SEARHC employees.
Collaborate with HR and internal communications teams to integrate the brand into recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement programs.
Digital Presence
Manage initiatives, including content development, to ensure brand consistency across SEARHC’s digital presence, including the website, social media channels, and digital marketing campaigns, ensuring that all content is on-brand.
Analyze digital metrics to assess the effectiveness of brand strategies and recommend data-driven adjustments as needed.
Stakeholder Engagement
Act as the primary point of contact to triage all brand-related inquiries and initiatives.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback and insights that inform brand strategies and initiatives.
Training and Education
Provide training and support to staff on brand guidelines and the importance of brand consistency.
Develop resources and toolkits to empower departments to create on-brand materials independently.
Create internal ambassadorship program to bu
ild network of brand advocates.
Education, Certifications, and Licenses Required
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Experience Required
At least 5 years of experience in brand management, marketing, or a related field, with a proven track record of developing and managing brand strategies.
Experience in the healthcare industry or working with indigenous communities is preferred.
Strong portfolio showcasing creative and strategic brand work.
Knowledge of
Strong understanding of branding principles, graphic design, and digital marketing.
