Branch Sales Manager

Job Summary: 

The Branch Sales Manager is responsible for identifying prospective customers, building and maintaining a mutually beneficial business relationship, and growing the sales and the profitability of the overall branch. A successful Branch Sales Manager will develop and train a cohesive team within the branch focused on supporting IDI’s culture and Core Values.

Compensation: $80,400 to $112,600 + Bonus

Responsibilities/Duties:

Primary responsibly is the profitable growth of IDI sales, responsible for topline & bottom line growth Retention of current customers; develop new customers while continuing to grow profitably and delivering great customer service Responsible for branch oversight including safety, inventories,  turnover, & retention of all branch employees Development and mentoring of all branch personnel including Sales, DC Manager, Drivers and operations staff with the focus on long term retention and fostering a customer service culture Oversight of all safety protocols and ensure all safety procedures are in full compliance with Corporate directives. Deploy training programs for safety, customer service and product knowledge Annual sales forecasting, budgeting required as well as monthly P&L reviews with Regional Director Assure proper training of all staff, & direct supervision of DC Manager Responsible for inventory management including branch inventory turn, weekly, monthly and annual inventory counts; limiting dead inventory Liaison between the branch & corporate office, fully execute all corporate directives Be present at the branch location and maintain an active role in the overall health & strength of the branch office Other duties as beneficial to IDI

Qualifications/Skills:

Proven results in sale of building materials Strong planning, time management and organizational skills Able to use Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel Strategic planning, sales management, negotiation and vendor management experience Ability to build long-lasting relationships with vendors, customers and sales staff Ability to develop new business Ability to travel less than 10% of the time Ability to meet deadlines and achieve sales goals Detail-orientated Ability to focus on individual and team goals 

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor degree or similar experience preferred 5+ years in sales - insulation or building material sales experience preferred
