As Branch Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing day-to-day operations, optimizing revenue generation, fostering strong customer relationships, and ensuring exemplary service delivery across all areas. You will be expected to deliver on business objectives while maintaining a focus on operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Lead and oversee the management of the Western Cape branch, contributing to the strategic direction of the company Differentiate the business from competitors through innovative strategies and superior service delivery Drive revenue growth and cost efficiency across all operational functions Customer Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with key importers, exporters, and other stakeholders Support the sales team in maintaining seamless customer engagement and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction Actively manage and update CRM records, ensuring transparency and accountability Take charge of key reefer customer relationships, ensuring their specific needs are met, especially in temperature-sensitive logistics Operational Excellence: Oversee export-booking performance, ensuring optimal slot utilization for both laden and empty allocations Ensure high productivity and service standards by managing equipment supply, claims resolution, and vessel operations Provide operational support and leadership as needed Refrigerated Cargo Expertise: Act as the main point of contact for reefer customers, ensuring seamless communication and timely resolution of service issues Offer proactive support to customers, identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell value-added services Gather customer feedback and market intelligence to continuously improve service offerings Manage key reefer commercial accounts, providing tailored solutions for complex logistics needs Team Management: Lead and manage branch staff, ensuring high productivity and compliance with labour laws and company procedures Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, encouraging professional growth and teamwork Marketing and Reporting: Oversee all marketing, import, export, and operational activities at the branch level Prepare and submit regular performance reports, ensuring alignment with company goals What We Are Looking For: Strong operational expertise in both import and export freight management Proven experience in handling reefer cargo and navigating associated complexities Demonstrated leadership in a high-paced environment, with the ability to manage and develop teams Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills Solid understanding of financial management, budgeting, and cost control Ability to proactively solve problems and align business strategies with customer needs Apply: [email protected]
