**Job Title: Box Truck Driver**
**Job Description**
Our drivers are essential to fulfilling the needs of our customers by ensuring timely and excellent delivery of their orders. The ideal driver is committed to maintaining safety regulations and providing exceptional customer service. Depending on the location, the Millworks Driver reports directly to the location Manager, Production Manager, Ops Lead, or Shop Foreman and interacts daily with customers, dispatchers, receivers, and load-builders.
**Responsibilities**
+ Always provide required paperwork and scanning for dispatch.
+ Seek to learn products and their application for the end users.
+ Learn and follow established best practices.
+ Learn from mistakes and accept coaching as opportunities.
+ Demonstrate legal and thorough knowledge of tie down rules and regulations.
+ Understand weight, height, and length limits.
+ Ensure that all material transported on the truck has either an invoice or Material Returns Form.
+ Continue to participate in training as available.
+ Learn best practices related to efficient loading, strapping, and driving.
+ Check load for accuracy.
+ Annually update driver’s qualification file as required by Federal and state regulations and company policy.
+ Legally, safely, and efficiently travel to destinations through public and private roads.
+ Complete mileage and fuel usage reports.
+ Follow delivery procedures by taking photos of delivered shipment after completing each delivery.
+ Learn and use route planning and optimization.
+ Demonstrate commitment to on-time and in-full deliveries.
**Essential Skills**
+ 1+ years of experience with a 26' box truck.
+ Familiarity with GPS devices or map applications.
+ Knowledge of vehicle safety audits and reports of malfunctioning equipment as required by Federal and State regulations and company policy.
+ Current DOT medical card or must obtain DOT medical card as a condition of employment.
+ Experience with loading and unloading.
+ Valid CDL, Class C.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Driving experience within a 50-mile radius of the primary Woodinville location is preferred.
+ Must be able to work 10-12 hour days with lots of overtime.
+ Must be able to lift 90 lbs.

**Work Environment**
Working conditions include loading, unloading, and delivering in all weather conditions. The job requires lifting up to 90 lbs and working 10-12 hour days with lots of overtime.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Woodinville, Washington.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $29.00/hr.
