Job details Currently seeking a full-time General Laborer - Box Stair Assembly. Basic carpentry skills are a plus although we are willing to train the right enthusiastic person! Hardwood technicians are encouraged to apply! This is a Monday-Friday position with no weekend work.

Responsibilities:
-Match the appropriate parts to the stringers ... -Assembly of stairs by inserting tread and risers into the stringer, clamping the stair, gluing and hammering in wedges, gluing and stapling in the v-block, and nailing/screwing the riser into the back of the tread
-Remove stair from assembly table and move it to the punch out table
-Quality control by looking for any nail blow-outs, screw blow-outs, and making sure everything is properly seated and secured
-Cut and install Scotia and wrap stairs as needed
-Stage stairs on skids for the loading department

Schedule:
Monday to Friday
No weekends

Individuals hired in this department are expected to be cross trained in various sub-
departments as needed.
Being able to perform manual labor relevant to the specific department, such as lifting up to 50
lb..

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
