Box Office Coordinator

Summary
Under direct supervision, the Box Office Coordinator will assist with the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of premium tickets and premium clients at the Box Office. Also, acts as a liaison between the facility and clients, ensuring all clients requirements are met and facility rules, regulations, and policies are adhered to.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
+ Build a “team-first” work environment, encouraging teamwork and interaction among employees.
+ Provide all guests and premium clients a positive first impression by offering superior guest service.
+ Updates and coordinates all event information for premium clients and Premium Manager/Premium Coordinator.
+ Updates order status of every premium order requested by Premium Department.
+ Accurately dispenses tickets as requested by patrons and accepts payment and makes change accurately.
+ Completes daily ticket sales report. Keeps accurate daily balance sheet of cash received and tickets sold, balances sales and change bank and submit cash to Box Office Manager for audit.
+ Prepares or assists Premium Coordinator and or Premium Manager with the preparation of a daily report of business transactions.
+ Assists announcement in Building events for Premium Clients for on-sales in a timely fashion.
+ Processes premium orders, building comps, promoter, group, and venue ticket orders, handles Will-Call window according to procedures, or other related duties as assigned by Manager.
+ Completes all building comps on time or as requested.
+ Assists Concierge during an event with all premium orders before venue doors are open and after the event has started.
+ Instructs, and trains Ticket Sellers in proper selling procedures, if needed.
+ Opens and or closes ticket window as required.
+ Assists in vault area as needed.
+ Prepares nightly deposits and reconciliations, if needed.
+ Demonstrates excellent customer service skills, responds promptly to customer needs, responds to requests for service and assistance, can work independently, and handle most Box Office questions without assistance.
+ Efficiently and courteously answers questions concerning prices, seating and events and gives information concerning coming attractions.
+ Files various records and reports.
+ May perform other duties as assigned.
+ Must work evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

Skills and Abilities
•Have working experience with computer ticket systems
• Have experience with the principles and techniques of supervision and training.
• Ability to count money and make change accurately.
• Handle conflicts, make common sense decisions, and exercise proper action during high tension and stressful situations.
• Work independently, exercising judgment and initiative.
• Organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines. Work effectively under pressure and/or stringent schedule and produce accurate results.
• Remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form.
• Maintain an effective working relationship with clients, employees, patrons, and others encountered in the course of employment.
• Professional presentation, appearance, and work ethic.
Education and/or Experience
+ Bachelor's degree preferred.
+ 1-2 years of related experience (event production, VIP services, hospitality, ticketing, customer service).
